Florist,
Choosing the right CMS depends on a series of factors. The best place to start is to define clearly who your audience is and what they need to do on your site.

I'd imagine that there are several user profiles for your typical audience and several scenarios as to why they buy flowers.

You aren't selling flowers you are selling love, caring, apologies, guilt avoidance.

Clearly define these groups and what they need and you then can determine what features and functions you need in a CMS.

The CMS is only a tool however it is not the be all and end all to you online business. Choosing the correct CMS for your needs won't deliver business success.

As a foundation to it all you need a User Experience Strategy; a way to attract, engage and fulfill their needs so that you make them rave about you and your offerings.

Here is a post that discusses 4 Pillars to Experience Design http://bit.ly/6T9Wm1

In terms of great potential CMS tools for your needs here is a list of ones we've found that have delivered great results for our client base:

Kentico: http://www.kentico.com
Sitecore: http://www.sitecore.net
Wordpress: http://www.wordpress.org
Drupal: http://www.drupal.com
